Travelling with kite gear
- Check your airline's sports-equipment rules and fees for a kite or board bag before booking.
- Pack kites and bar in a padded bag, and keep your harness and wetsuit in it to protect the board.
- If you are taking lessons, check what the school provides. Essaouira Watersports, for example, includes kite, board, harness, wetsuit and helmet in its kite lessons, so beginners can travel light.
